A Pink Mother’s Day

On May 13 th 2007, the anti-war activist group Code Pink had a pink celebration for mothers and peace.

At Lafayette Park across from the White House hundreds of moms, dads and kids celebrated Mother’s Day with their message of peace.

It was a very clear day with lots of sunshine, dancing, readings, art and many activists came out to support the day.

I hope that all mothers from all walks of life and political views had a wonderful and peaceful Mother’s Day
